GO WITH THE FLOW
For Those Really Big Jobs: Manufacturer showcases in-house logistics as part of a new demand-flow production line.

The new system is used in a wide range of applications, such as the production of large steel pipes.

Strothmann (Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, Germany) recently showcased its RoundTrack® system, as well as its expertise in the fields of handling and intralogistics technology, at the 195,000 sq m Komatsu-Hanomag Hanover (Germany) plant, where a second flow production line for excavators has recently been installed.

In the flow production line, the excavator configuration gains more and more shape with each assembly station. The system offers options ranging from crossover mechanisms for orthogonal junctions to turntables and a new quadric turnstile that offers an alternative for simple directional changes of assembly platforms.
